You have just received the first issue of coloriage, the newsletter I have designed around the creation of moments of escape. I plan to send you one new coloriage per month / week or maybe year, drawn by me especially for each issue, around a common theme: the nap.

See, I thought that taking the time to colour was like taking time for a nap, a time of one’s own, where you are blissfully useless.

And what is more accessible than a coloriage? it erases the pressure of result or subject, and offers everyone a moment of creation, disconnected.

How to colour?

The drawing in this newsletter can be printed on thick paper and painted with gouache or watercolour, or coloured with felt-tip pens or coloured pencils. Perhaps you have some pastels forgotten in a drawer?

If you are hesitating, I would advise you to choose the slowest technique... coloured pencils.

If you have a tablet or an iPad, but no printer, you can also colour it digitally. You can find my tips to prepare your file here. This should bring you closer to a paper colouring experience.
