Workshop Textile & Print 2

linoprint textile emmaüs illustration food illustration workshop local

For this second edition of our textile and print workshop (see the first one), we shared resources and materials, while taking advantage of this time away, to individually delve into different themes and techniques.

I once again created around the theme of a Mediterranean breakfast in the sun. On white linen or cotton tablecloths, collected over the weeks at Emmaus, I painted in blue ceramic compositions, almonds and oranges. I used these motifs on tablecloths for 4 / 6 / 8 people, and table mats.

Repetition and slight variations in composition were central to this practice, and a reflection of the daily morning petit-déjeuner routine, always almost the same as the day before, but always slightly different.

In 2023 I renewed with the practice of painting a series of still lifes in blue paint (see more here)
